PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with excellent discharge stability and high image display characteristics by removing impurity gas remaining inside a panel. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the plasma display panel includes a process of baking a substrate with a phosphor layer containing resin formed, in which a fan for rectifying atmosphere is provided over a place where the substrate in a baking furnace is positioned for rectifying the atmosphere in the furnace by the fan for rectifying atmosphere to burn out the above resin.
