PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for the immersion of an ultrasonic inspection device and a fiberscope inspection system into a spent fuel pool and the setting to adapt to fuel assemblies in the inspection of fuel assemblies or fuel rods where radioactivity leakage has occurred. SOLUTION: A fuel inspection system includes the ultrasonic inspection device and the fiberscope inspection system in a single body, such that they are furnished side by side in the vertical direction, the fiberscope inspection system is provided above the ultrasonic inspection device and they share a drive unit for inserting each sensing element into a fuel assembly and pulling it out of the fuel assembly, and a switching unit for driving either of the inspection systems.
