PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative panel which can express in unevenness characters, figures or the like, while using a stucco, to manufacture highly decorative decoration panels. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the decorative panel comprises the following steps: an underlayer forming step for coating the stucco on a substrate and drying it to form an underlayer on the substrate with the stucco; a sheet pasting step for pasting a sheet material cut out into a prescribed shape on the underlayer; an upper coating layer forming step for coating the stucco on the underlayer so as to be tightly adhered on the peripheral edges of the sheet member and drying it to form the upper coating layer on the underlayer with the stucco; and a sheet material peeling step for peeling the sheet material after the upper coating layer forming step.
