PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving wheel bearing unit including a hub ring, a bearing and a constant velocity universal joint, which are assembled on a knuckle member in a simplified process. SOLUTION: The hub ring 10 is plastically joined to an outside joint member 31 of an outboard side constant velocity universal joint 30. An outer peripheral face 26a of an outward member 26 is pressed into the inner peripheral face of the knuckle member. The maximum outer diameter size D1 of the outboard side constant velocity universal joint 30 is made smaller than the minimum inner diameter size Dn of the knuckle member 6. Similarly, the maximum outer diameter size D2 of an inboard side constant velocity universal joint 40 is made smaller than the minimum inner diameter size Dn of the knuckle member 6.
