PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for culturing Caulerpa lentillifera improving efficiency in culturing Caulerpa lentillifera and reducing working load on a worker: and to provide a method for culturing Caulerpa lentillifera using the culturing device. SOLUTION: In the device for culturing Caulerpa lentillifera, or by the method for culturing Caulerpa lentillifera, an overflow pipe leads surplus seawater out to a drainage port from the water intake port of the pipe when the seawater filled in a water tank set in a hothouse exceeds a specified water level. In the device or by the method, quantity of work for regulating the growth depth of the Caulerpa lentillifera is surely reduced so as to largely lighten the working load on the worker because the specified water level can be changed in accordance with the position of the water intake port when the position of the water intake port in a depth direction of the water tank at the overflow pipe is changed.
