COVER FOR PREVENTING WATER GUAGE FROM FREEZING AND BURST

A heat insulating cover is provided to prevent burst of a water gauge in the winter time and to protect a water meter against external impact by manufacturing the cover with rubber having high thermal insulating efficiency and adiabatic efficiency. A heat insulating cover(1) for burst prevention of a water meter is manufactured with high-elasticity rubber, and consists of a lower cover(10) covering the lower outside of a water meter and an upper cover(20) covering the upper outside of the water meter. The lower cover includes an opening(11), an inflow projection(12) and an outflow projection(13), wherein a main body of the water meter is inserted and adhered closely to the inside of the opening and an inflow connector and an outflow connector are inserted and adhered closely to the inside of the inflow projection and the outflow projection. The upper cover includes a protruding part(21) fitted with a hinge part of the water meter and a cut line(22) formed in the middle of the upper cover except the protruding part to penetrate the inside and outside of the upper cover.
