A video display device and an assembling method thereof are provided to fix a screen only by using a filter supporter and a cabinet, thereby removing the necessity for an existing special screen support for fixing the screen and accordingly reducing manufacturing costs. On a screen(10), an image is projected. A filter(40) is installed in the front of the screen. A filter supporter(50) is installed in the rear of the filter facing the front of the screen, and has a front mounting unit where a front edge of the screen is stably mounted. A cabinet(30) is installed in the rear of the screen and has a rear mounting unit where a rear edge of the screen is stably mounted so as to correspond to the front mounting unit of the filter supporter.
