An 8 speed power train of an automatic transmission is provided to prevent vibration due to sudden deceleration by maintaining an operation status out of two operation components when a skip shift is operated. A first single-pinion planetary gear set(SPG1) is comprised of a first sun gear(S1) connected to a case(1), a first planetary carrier(PC1) connected to an input shaft(3), and a first ring gear(R1) gear-coupled to the first planetary carrier. A ravigneaux gear set(RG) is comprised of a second sun gear(S2), a second planetary carrier(PC2), a third planetary carrier(PC3), a third gear(S3), and a second ring gear(R2). The second sun gear is connected to the first ring gear by intermediating a fourth clutch(C4). The second planetary carrier is connected to the first planetary carrier by intermediating a third clutch(C3) and connected to the case by intermediating a second brake(B2). The third planetary carrier is directly connected to the second planetary carrier. The third sun gear is gear-coupled to the third planetary carrier and connected to the first ring gear by intermediating a second clutch(C2). The second ring gear is gear-coupled to the third planetary carrier. A second single pinion planetary gear set is comprised of a fourth sun gear(S4) directly connected to the third sun gear, a fourth planetary carrier(PC4) directly connected to the second ring gear and an output shaft(2), and a fourth gear(R4) connected to the case by intermediating a first brake(B1).
