<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable computer capable of sending out output from a measurement object part to a main body by a sensor device for which power consumption by the increase of standby power is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to wireless communication by weak radio waves, a computer main body 10 has the transmission/reception means 34 of a second frequency band for transferring transmission/reception data between the sensor device 20 and the computer main body 10, the sensor device 20 has the transmission/reception means 44 of the second frequency band for transferring the transmission/reception data between the sensor device 20 and the computer main body 10, and thus electromagnetic induction waves of the second frequency band generated by the computer main body 10 are converted into power on the side of the sensor device and the power is obtained as power supply.
