<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure of a back door glass for a vehicle tactfully using a thick back door glass and a thin back door glass according to a fixed type back door glass or an opening/closing type back door glass, favorably retaining the external appearance of the back door by forming a design surface in a same position in either case and securing an appropriate seal pressure. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing structure is so formed that the pane thickness of the opening/closing type back door glass 14 (Fig.1(A)) is thicker than that of the fixed type back door glass 50 (Fig.1(B)). In a case of the thin back door glass 50, a molding 58 (Fig.1(C)) is set on a seal surface 54 for absorbing the pane thickness difference and uniformizes distances between seal surfaces. This constitution can equalize the position of the design surface to favorably retain the external appearance quality of the back door 10.
