<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound image control device and a sound image control method which are capable of improving, especially, the precision of a distance direction without increasing the number of transfer characteristic filters while fixing intervals of transfer characteristic filters. <P>SOLUTION: In a sound image control device 100, a distance gain control part 101 which performs gain control of a sound pressure of an input monaural sound signal consisting of one channel with respect to a distance direction from a head to a sound image is provided in a preceding stage of input of a sound image orientation part 120 for a virtual sound field 1 and a sound image orientation part 130 for a virtual sound field 2, and a reflected sound gain control part 102 which performs gain control by a distance of reflected sounds of the sound pressure of the input monaural sound signal consisting of one channel is provided in the preceding stage of input of a virtual reflected sound generation part 150 for controlling the sound image to out-of-head orientation during audition with a headphone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
