<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design for advantageously containing high flux amount without adversely affecting image quality even under low flux amount by providing an energy identification detector which does not cause saturation under an X-ray photon flux amount as can be typically seen in a conventional radiographic system. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode assembly 68 having an adjustable active area is provided. The electrode assembly 68 is so structured as to detect photon. The electrode assembly 68 comprises a center reading electrode 70 and one or more bias control parts 72, 74, 76. The bias control parts 72, 74, 76 are disposed adjacent to the center reading electrode 70. The active area is changed by controlling the voltages of the bias control parts 72, 74, 76 against the voltage of the center reading electrode 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
