PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protection device for a vehicle capable of sufficiently protecting a pedestrian colliding against a vehicle front face by instantaneously and surely whisking the pedestrian off his/her legs.

SOLUTION: Reinforcing beads 20 each having an extension part 22 extending in the vehicle front/rear direction to the front side part 18 of a plate part 12 positioned extending in the front/rear direction, and an end part 23 integrally extending from the rear end edge of the extension part 22 and connecting the rear end edge of the extension part 22 to the rear side portion 14 of the plate part 12 are integrally formed at the lower part of the vehicle front part; and a first auxiliary bead 38 having a width narrower than the reinforcing bead 20 is integrally formed across the end part 23 of the reinforcing bead 20 and the front end part of the rear side portion 14 of the plate part 12 in such a manner as continuously extending in the vehicle front/rear direction.
