<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nucleotide sequences of a human Notch gene and Delta gene, and amino acid sequences of their encoded proteins and to provide fragments including an antigenic determinant or functionally active. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the following genes and their encoded proteins by the same obtained by a genetic engineering technique: (1) human Notch and Delta protein; (2) adhesion fragments of toporythmic proteins encoded by the toporythmic gene which mediates homotypic or heterotypic binding to a toporythmic protein; and (3) an antibody to human Notch and adhesion fragment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
