<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow a job state desired by a user to be displayed, when monitoring at once a large amount of jobs in a distribution printing system, and to enhance usability. <P>SOLUTION: The user selects a rough job state by a tree view, before displaying lob information in a job list, in this printing job state information display function of the present invention. The rough job state means two stages of (1) the job under printing (distributed not yet or distributed already), and (2) the paper-discharge-finished job (distribution history), the job information under the one state selected out of the two stages of states is displayed as the list, and only the job narrowed information is displayed by assigning a narrowing condition of the job state with the number desired by the user, when narrowed further in the narrowed job. A significant narrowing condition is also narrowed therein when selected in the roughly narrowed two states, to bring a state (display) selectable by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
