PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively increase the stress-receiving capacity and abrasion resistance of a golf club head and to provide the effect of the centroid arrangement therein by adding high specific gravity components in specified ratios to alloy components, and further suitably controlling the weight percentage of the components of carbon, silicon, manganese, nickel, chromium, tungsten and iron in the alloy components.
SOLUTION: The alloy of a golf club head having high strength and high elongation percentage is formed by containing, by weight,≤0.08% carbon, 0.5 to 2.0% silicon, 0.5 to 2.0% manganese, 5.0 to 15.0% nickel, 15.0 to 30.0% chromium, 5.0 to 15.0% tungsten and iron in the other ratio.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
