PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal capable of preventing adhesion of varnish to a connection with a bus bar. SOLUTION: The terminal 20 is connected to an end 11e of a power line 11 of a rotating electric machine 30 having a coil 2 to which varnish 8 is fixed, and it is provided with a sleeve 22 extending in a longitudinal direction. The sleeve 22 includes a caulking part 223 into which the power line 11 is inserted and which caulks and fixes the power line 11, and with a first opening 221 and a second opening 222 which are positioned on both sides of the caulking part 223 and receive the power line 11. A length A in the longitudinal direction of the first opening 221 positioned nearer to the rotating electric machine 30 compared to the caulking part 223 is longer than a length B in the longitudinal direction of the second opening 222, positioned farther from the rotating electric machine 30 compared to the caulking part 223.
