<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving both of high-speed operation and high image quality by appropriately controlling the transfer of toner from a developing roll to a latent image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with: a magnetic roll 17 holding two-component developer obtained by sticking toner and magnetic carrier by electrostatic force by magnetic force; the developing roll 18 on the surface of which the thin layer of the toner transferred from the two-component developer on the magnetic roll 17 is formed; and a latent image carrier 7 where a latent image is developed by using the toner on the developing roll 18 by developing bias applied between the developing roll 18 and the latent image carrier 7. Further, the apparatus 1 is equipped with electrification amount control means 10 and 22 controlling the electrification amount of the toner at a developing nip part 23 on the developing roll 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
