PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve write/delete of flash memories different in command type by one firmware. SOLUTION: A flash memory is referred to by a CFI command (S11), a command set ID for showing the command type of the flash memory is acquired (S12), and the command type of the flash memory is determined based on the acquired command set ID (S13). Further, the flash memory not referred with the CFI command is referred to by a status register clear command (S14), and the command type of the flash memory is determined based on the result referred to by the status register command (S15, S16).
