PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-formed yoke for a universal-joint which has a high rigidity, and ensures a large bending angle. SOLUTION: A first recess 14 including a concavity is provided at one end 9a of a cylindrical base 9. The center A1 of the curvature of the concavity is offset from the center C1 of the joint to the tip-end of an arm 11. A second recess 18 including a flat part configuring a parallelogram is provided at a side edge 17a of the arm 11. The flat surface and the side edge 17a cross each other at first and second intersection-lines 19, 20 respectively extending parallel to the central axis 10 of the base 9. The first line 19 of intersection relatively near to the central axis 10 of the base 9 is relatively far from the center C1 of the joint in relation to the direction parallel to the central axis 10.
