PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to check the success or failure of dubbing. SOLUTION: A camera 10 reproduces image data specified by a recording medium 20, and transfers them to a computer 50. A recording and reproducing device 58 records the image data from the camera 10 on a recording medium 56. The success or failure of record to the recording medium 56 is checked by verification processing. A control device 58 transfers the success or failure of record to the camera 10. The control device 30 displays the success or failure of record checked by the computer 50 on the thumbnail display screen of the recorded image of the recording medium 20.
