The maternity bra comprises a pair of breast cups that each include on its inner surface at least two diametrically opposed elongate strap elements that are attached or integral with the cup and which are positioned so as to hold, in use, an absorbent breast pad over the nipple. The strap elements may comprise elastic strips or a pair of fabric panels and are preferably waterproof. The strap elements may be positioned so that they are parallel to one another in a vertical or parallel axis or so that they form a substantially V shape. Each cup preferably has three or four strap elements which may form a triangular, square or rectangular configuration. |
