PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a poor contact of a rotary connector for connecting a controller to a pattern display device. SOLUTION: A display controller is connected to the fixed side connector part of a rotary connector 60 while a liquid crystal display device to the rotary side connector part to complete the electric connection of both the members. A driven gear 53 adapted to rotate the liquid crystal display device in the drive of a stepping motor is provided coaxially with the rotary side connector part. The driven gear 53 is provided with a pair of working wall parts 54 and 55 being separated from each other in the direction of the rotary side connector part rotates and the rotary side connector part is provided with a working protruded part 70 located contactlessly between both the working wall parts 54 and 55. The working wall parts 54 and 55 presses the working protruded part 70 when the driven gear 53 is rotated to make the driven gear 53 and the rotary side connector part turn together. This enables the rotation of the driven gear 53 so as to keep the working wall parts 54 and 55 from pressing the working protruded part 70, thereby rotating the liquid crystal display device while stopping the rotary side connector part.
