PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a motorcycle capable of favorably suppressing a slip by improving the frictional force of a treading surface with a road surface while sufficiently securing steering stability on a dry road surface and a wet road surface. SOLUTION: Three types of inclined groove pairs, which extend into a truncated chevron shape mutually on respective tread half portions 8a and 8b positioned in the both sides of a tire equator E in a development plan view of the treading face 7, are so provided as to complete their both ends within the land part, the central part of the treading face 7 has a center rib 12 with the width of 5 mm or more extending linearly on the tire equator E at the center, and the respective inclined grooves of the three types of inclined groove pairs are formed of main inclined grooves 9a and 9b positioned closest to the tire equator E and having the longest extension length, shoulder inclined grooves 10a and 10b extending from a part between the main inclined grooves spaced in the circumferential direction, overhanging toward the treading face end side and having the shortest extension length, and sub inclined grooves 11a and 11b positioned between the main inclined grooves and forming a minimum angle with the tire equator E.
