PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a discharge capacity in 1.0V of end voltage in a lithium-iron sulfide primary battery, and to prolong a usable time of electronic equipment to the maximum. SOLUTION: A ratio of a positive electrode capacity to a negative electrode capacity is made to be brought into 0.900 or more to 1.080 or less, preferably 1.020 or more to 1.050 or less. The positive electrode capacity means a capacity in case of taking out a positive electrode by disassembling the battery after predischarged by 7% of a negative electrode input capacity, of preparing the battery again together with a sufficient amount of negative electrode, and of carrying out discharge using 1.0V of end voltage, and the negative electrode capacity means a capacity in case of taking out a negative electrode by disassembling the battery after predischarged by 7% of the negative electrode input capacity, of preparing the battery again together with a sufficient amount of positive electrode, and of carrying out discharge using 0.6V of end voltage.
