PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactless power supply system which can prevent heat generation under low load regardless of the state of load, and to provide a power supply device and a power receiving device. SOLUTION: The contactless power supply system comprises a power receiving device, and a power supply device performing contactless power supply to the power receiving device. The power receiving device comprises a means for receiving power from the power supply device, a means for supplying a load for the power thus supplied, a means for detecting the state of the load, and a means for transmitting information indicative of the state of the load thus detected to the power supply device by radio. The power supply device comprises a means performing contactless power supply to the power receiving device, a means for receiving the information of load state transmitted from the receiving device by radio, and a means for controlling electric energy supplied to the power receiving device based on the information of load state thus received.
