PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative tile wall that creates a great decorative effect by means of a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A wall surface is formed by a tile unit 10 having a plurality of tiles 11A, 11B, 11C. Each of the tiles has on its surface a pattern consisting of projections and recesses 15. Since the pattern consists of the projections and recesses 15, light striking the pattern is reflected in a complex way. Since the tiles have different patterns, they reflect light to different degrees, resulting in a variety of colors. That is, even if the tiles are the same color, they are sensed by the human eye to be varied in color or shade. If the tiles differ in color, their difference is made more conspicuous than it really is. The tiles may be directly secured to the wall surface to construct a tiled wall or decorative boards with projections and recesses on their surfaces to resemble the tiles and their joints may be used to provide a similar decorative effect.
