PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine which is constituted to remove a fluid balancer from a rotary drum without taking the rotary drum out of a frame body to facilitate the repair and the inspection of the fluid balancer. SOLUTION: The fluid balancer 54 has an annular shape, is formed circumferentially on the periphery of the rotary drum 51, and is fixed to the rotary drum 51 with balancer attachment screws 13. The balancer attachment screws 13 are fastened on the front side rather than a frame body opening part 60 of the frame body 50 in a manner to be directed from the outside of the rotary drum 51 to the inside.
