PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker with a dot matrix liquid crystal display means, which is capable of improving a display system of the dot matrix liquid crystal display means and improving workability of menu setting operation. SOLUTION: This electric rice cooker with the liquid crystal display means of a dot matrix display method and a display control means to drive and control the liquid crystal display means, is constituted to be capable of memorizing a plurality of information of setting contents until starting of cooking, sequentially displaying the information on the liquid crystal display means by designated key operation and starting cooking and speedily providing favorite mode information required by a user.
