IMPLANT MATERIAL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE IMPLANT MATERIAL

<p>It is intended to provide an implant material which can sufficiently prevent reduction and degradation of bone. This implant material is characterized by having an anisotropic porous structure. In a preferred embodiment, it is characterized in that the anisotropy is determined by taking the crystal orientation in the hard tissue. A method of producing an implant material, which aims at producing the implant material as described above, characterized by comprising evaluating the normal hard tissue with the use of the orientation properties of crystals and imparting an anisotropic porous structure determined by considering the orientation to an implant material.</p>
