The present invention relates to azolylmethyloxiranes of the general form ula I, in which A is phenyl substituted by two F, B is unsubstituted pyridyl , thienyl, thiazolyl, oxazolyl or furyl, or is phenyl substituted by from on e to three of the following substituents: halogen, NO2, amino, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C1-C4-haloalkoxy, C1-C4-alkylamino, C1-C4-dia lkylamino, thio or C1-C4-alkylthio, with the proviso that B is not o-methylp henyl when A is 2,4-difluoro-phenyl, and to their acid addition or metal sal ts compatible with plants, to the use of the compounds of the formula I for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and to compositions comprising them.
