METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DRAINING SEWAGE WATER FROM INNER BOW OF GUIDE OF MACHINE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING OF ROUGH BEAM SECTIONS

FIELD: processes for trapping and draining sewage water from inner bow of guide for blank in machine for continuous casting of beam blanks. ^ SUBSTANCE: sewage water is collected on inner bow of blank, trapped and sucked with use of suction head. Pumped off water-air mixture is separated by water and air. In suction head trapped sewage water is fluidized by means of fluidizing members or flow decelerators. Said fluidizing members are in the form of large number of air nozzles distributed along suction head. The last is provided with means for moving it along inner bow of rough beam section. Compact design of suction head prevents collision of blank with water draining devices. ^ EFFECT: lowered expenses for mounting and maintaining, possibility for using water suction off means for different-size blanks, improved compactness of suction head. ^ 11 cl, 2 dwg
