<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the visual automatic recording/reproduction of video matching user's taste for a user by easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A video controller for a video recording/reproduction system includes: an information gathering means by which the video controller acquires user behavior information from a user operating device when video contents of a video input device are started to be recorded; an information decision means of analyzing the user behavior information to decide a feeling level; an information storage means of storing feeling history information obtained by the information decision means in a database relating to a feeling history; an information retrieving means by which the video controller performs retrieval from the database relating to the feeling history based upon the user behavior information of the user operating device when video contents of a video storage device are started to be reproduced; and an information display selecting means of making the video display device display video contents matching the feeling level of the user for selection.
