PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of preferentially receiving an incoming call from a line with high priority depending on time. SOLUTION: When receiving incoming calls from a plurality of lines simultaneously (step S100), the telephone set decides whether or not the incoming calls belong to the same group (step S160), and when the incoming calls belong to the same group, the telephone set determines a line whose incoming call is to be prioritized on the basis of priority ranking information in the group (step S190). On the other hand, when the incoming calls do not belong to the same group, the telephone set selects a group whose incoming call is to be prioritized at a present time, and preferentially responds to the incoming call from the selected group (steps S180 to S190).
