PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical disk to be manufactured from deteriorating in quality owing to mixture of a bubble remaining in a center cap. SOLUTION: As preparatory processing for the center cap repeatedly used for spin coating in a layer forming stage of the optical disk, a layer structure material (for example, ultraviolet curing resin) sticking on the cap is removed by rotation and air is blown during the rotation to remove bubble. Here, the layer structure material on the center cap is not all spun off, but remains in a thin-film state. Namely, wettability by the layer structure material (for example, ultraviolet curing resin before curing) is maintained on a surface of the center cap without completely washing and drying the center cap so as to eliminate the layer structure material.
