PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire inspection method capable of improving the detection accuracy of visual/automatic determination of tires. SOLUTION: An X-ray source 11 arranged at the position y1 respectively irradiates X-raysα1,α2 to the points A, B of a tire 13 and then obtains the coordinates x1, x2 on a camera 12, corresponding to the points A, B. Then, the X-ray source 11, arranged at a position y2, respectively irradiates X-raysα3,α4 to the points A, B of a tire and then obtains the coordinates x3, x4 on the camera 12, corresponding to the points A, B. The coordinates of the points A, B are determined, by finding out the intersection points of the X-raysα1,α3 and X-raysα2,α4. The actual distance t between the points A, B is determined by using the coordinates of the points A, B.
