PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type steam generating device configured to prevent a high-temperature point at a corner of a heating element stored in a heating container or a heating pipe of the steam generating device from being brought into contact with the inner wall of the heating container and the heating pipe. SOLUTION: In the induction heating type steam generating device, the heating element made of a conductive material is inserted into the heat-resistant, non-magnetic and non-conductive tubular heating container through which water flows, and the heating element is induction-heated by the high-frequency magnetic field applied from a heating coil disposed in the outer periphery of the heating container. Water in the heating container is heated by the induction-heated heating element so that steam is generated in the induction heating type steam generating device. The heating element is made of the slender stick-like conductive material. A plurality of heating elements are inserted into the heating container at prescribed intervals, with the same axial direction as the direction of the magnetic flux of the high-frequency magnetic field, and at a prescribed distance from the wall of the heating container.
