PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating wet dust recovered from a dust catcher to a suitable state as a sintering raw material, and for producing sintered ore using wet dust and dry dust recovered from respective wet type and dry type dust catchers as a part of a sintering raw material. SOLUTION: In the method for treating wet dust, sludge-shaped wet dust recovered from a wet type dust catcher is subjected to dehydrating treatment so as to be made into a dehydrated cake, the dehydrated cake is cracked, further, dry dust is added thereto so as to be mixed, and the mixture is granulated, thus a dust granulated material to be a sintering raw material is obtained. Further, in the method for producing sintered ore, the sludge-shaped wet dust recovered from a wet type dust catcher is subjected to dehydrating treatment so as to be a dehydrated cake; the dehydrated cake is cracked; further, dry dust is added thereto so as to be mixed, and the mixture is granulated; thus a dust granulated material is formed, and sintered ore is produced using the dust granulated material as a part of a sintering raw material.
