PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic high in stability, giving the skin moderate smoothness and moistness, free of sticky feeling, and good in usability. SOLUTION: The gel-like cosmetic comprises 5-18 mass% of a fatty acid and/or salt thereof including a≥16C branched fatty acid, 4-10 mass% of a≥18C unsaturated alcohol and water, wherein the neutralization percentage of the fatty acid is 90-100% in terms of molar ratio.
