PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution of a chemical vaporizer provided with a chemical retainer not only having chemical retaining effects but also improving chemical vaporizing effects on the basis of an arrangement of mesh-like chemical-retaining fibers and other chemical-retaining fibers. SOLUTION: The chemical vaporizer is designed to rotate the chemical retainer 1 made of fibers as a material by a rotation driving device. The chemical vaporizer is based on adoption of the chemical retainer 1 obtained by arranging the mesh-like chemical-retaining fibers 2 arranged regularly in the two-dimensional direction on both the upper and the lower lateral faces of the chemical retainer 1 and arranging a plurality of supporting and connecting chemical-retaining fibers 3 for supporting and connecting the mesh-like chemical-retaining fibers 2 on both the upper and the lower sides at a prescribed interval by having flexural modulus between the mesh-like chemical-retaining fibers 2 on both the upper and the lower sides forming units of each mesh.
