PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair curler capable of easily forming a longitudinal spiral curl without skill, not giving a sense of discomfort to a user even when the user sleeps with hair curled with the curler, not requiring a hair holder and simple in structure. SOLUTION: A spiral slit 4 to be a hair inserting hole is formed on an outer peripheral part of a main body 2 of the hair curler 1 made of a columnar elastic body having flexibility, and a helical hollow part 3 to be a hair storage part by making it communicating with the helical slit 4 is formed along the inside of the spiral slit 4.
