摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The anemometer has two rod-shaped sensor units (2, 4) respectively serving as a temperature sensor and a heating unit. The sensor units are embedded in a flow-type body (6) such that a side of the sensor units directed against a direction of the air flow (S) is protected from contamination due to the airflow. One of the sensor units is exposed to the airflow only on a side that runs parallel to the air flow direction. A thermal isolation in the form of an air gap (L) is provided between the sensor units and the body, where the body is formed as a plate. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Hot film anemometer for air mass measurement of airflow in an internal combustion engine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The sensor units are embedded in the flow-type body, such that the side of the sensor units directed against the direction of air flow is protected from contamination due to the airflow, thus avoiding changes in an output signal of the sensor units that leads to signal drifts, and hence improving sensitivity of the sensor units.
