<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method enhancing a diagnostic efficency. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of performing projection processing, when a specific value of a pixel amounts to a threshold in an x direction in which tomographic surfaces make a line and thereafter the specific value amounts to the threshold again, performing of the projection processing is finished and a projection image RT is generated. Then, while the position of the pixel projected in the x direction in the case of performing the projection processing and generating the projection image and the position of each of the pixel of tomographic images PT1, PT2, PT3 and PT4 generated in the x direction correspond to each other in a three-dimensional area where scanning is performed to a subject, each of the tomographic images PT1, PT2, PT3 and PT4 and the projection image RT are composed to generate each of composite images AT1, AT2, AT3 and AT4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
