<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly achieve operation confirmation relating to the collection of an operation log and setting confirmation relating to whether device information set in a management device is right or wrong in a print management system where a printer and a management device are connected through a network. <P>SOLUTION: A management device 2 stores print data for testing which suit to a printer 1, and adds device information relating to the printer stored in its own device to print data for test according to the instruction of test printing by an operator in a PC 3, and transmits the print data for testing with the device information acquired from this to the printer, and requests test printing, and an operator views an operation log acquired by the management device 2 from the printer, and performs operation confirmation according to the execution of the test printing by the printer.
