<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an enterprise of providing virtual trip service by a pedometer and a program stored in a medium such as a CD-ROM, or of providing virtual trip service through a Web site from generating a loss, and to secure consistency between the pedometer and an intermediation program to prevent an operation error from being generated in a user personal computer, in a virtual trip system of starting up automatically the intermediation program to start the virtual trip service, when a peripheral device interface cable of the pedometer is connected to the user personal computer, or when an electric power source of the user personal computer connected already to the peripheral device interface cable is turned on. <P>SOLUTION: A recognition number for specifying a product, for example, a serial number is imparted to the pedometer used in the virtual trip system for traveling imaginarily while walking using the pedometer and the personal computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
