PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat dissipation efficiency of a tilted magnetic field coil. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging device comprises a gantry having a tilted magnetic field coil 12 for generating a tilted magnetic field applied to a specimen in a static magnetic field, a berth for sliding a top plate for mounting the specimen in its longitudinal direction, a pulse applying section for applying a high-frequency pulse to the specimen, and a high-frequency coil for detecting a magnetic resonance signal generated in the specimen by applying the tilted magnetic field and high frequency pulse. The tilted magnetic field coil 12 comprises a plurality of wires 16 each of which is wound in a predetermined winding pattern, epoxy resin 15 filled into a clearance between the plurality of wires 16, and a compound material 17 that has a heat conductivity higher than that of the epoxy resin 15 and is filled into a clearance formed between the wires 16 by winding at least one wire 16 of the plurality of wires 16.
