DISCRIMINATION METHOD FOR PLANT SOURCE MATERIAL IN BREWAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discrimination method for the source plants in brewage on their plant species or forma by using the brewage as a specimen. SOLUTION: DNA is extracted from a brewage by an enzymatic method and purified. The resultant DNA is used as a template and PCR is carried out in the presence of a primer derived from the plant gene and the plant species or forma of the source plant is discriminated on the basis of the polymorphism of the amplified DNA.
