The invention relates to a faeces-emptying apparatus for a toilet bowl of a pump toilet on boats and yachts. The object of the invention is to provide a faeces-emptying apparatus which comprises fewer individual parts than previously and can be operated just with one pump. The faeces-emptying apparatus according to the invention comprises a toilet bowl which is arranged on the faeces tank (5), associated connection pipes, feed line and discharge line and shut-off valves. The novel feature is that just one compact physically concentrated short faeces line comprising a plurality of individual parts, which are connected to one another, and, directly in the faeces line, a specific multiway valve (3) of corresponding size are provided. The channels of the multiway valve (3) have a specific optimized through-flow cross section. Therefore, blockages are already largely precluded at this inflow point. At the same time, the multiway valve (3) enables through-flow in at least two directions independently of each other in each case. The flow of faeces can, as required, be conducted in different directions by rotating the valve insert (14) through just 180 degrees. An output of the horizontal hole (18) in the valve housing (13) is connected to a faeces pump (4) whereas the other output is connected to a suction-extraction connection piece (7). The upper output of the vertical hole (19) in the valve insert (14) is connected to the toilet bowl (1) and functions as an inlet opening for the faeces, whereas the lower output of the vertical hole (19) issues into a tubular flange (12) with a seal, which tubular flange protrudes through the tank opening (21) into the tank and to which the suction pipe (6) is secured. This produces a very compact construction of the entire faeces-emptying apparatus. |
