The invention relates to information representation devices, in particular to portable projecting devices and can be used for displaying information to third persons, for example during representations, lectures and for video and animation film projection. The aim of said invention is to develop an information representation device exhibiting increased consumer qualities in terms of a simplified operational control. The invention makes it possible to rigidly fix the device to a support in such a way, that a projection apparatus and the support thereof are synchronously reorientable and the projection apparatus is protected against environmental exposure, and to minimise the number of mutual degrees of freedom of the elements of the device. The inventive information representation device comprises a projection apparatus and a unit for carrying it, wherein said projection apparatus is provided with a body element and the projection apparatus carrying unit comprises a case covering at least two sides of the body element. The invention is characterised in that the projection apparatus carrying unit comprises at least one removable element which is fixable to a vertically oriented support and makes contact with the rear side of the support and one of the elements of the projection apparatus carrying unit is brought into contact with the body element.
