A VENTILATION CONTRIVANCE

A ventilation system with improved heat exchange efficiency is provided to prevent waste of heat and to keep indoor air clean by circulating indoor air after sterilization and cooling without introduction of outdoor air. A ventilation system with improved heat exchange efficiency includes dampers(11,61,8) mounted to an outdoor air inlet(1), an indoor air outlet(6) and a ventilation hole(71) of a barrier wall(7) formed between the outdoor air inlet and the indoor air outlet, wherein the dampers have the same structure. When a sterilization function is turned off, outdoor air is introduced, sterilized by a sterilization part(3), and cooled by a heat exchanger(2) so that the sterilized and cooled outdoor air is supplied to an indoor space. When the sterilization function is turned on, the dampers of the outdoor air inlet and the indoor air outlet are closed and the damper of the ventilation hole is opened, so that indoor air is introduced again, sterilized by the sterilization part, and cooled by the heat exchanger and supplied to the indoor space again. The heat exchanger absorbs the coldness of the introduced indoor air for preventing loss of waste heat of the indoor air.
